Each year from September to November, almost 600 players compete against teams in their division.

Games are played on Saturday and Sunday depending on age and division and there is usually one weekly practice that players are strongly encouraged to attend. 

In addition to the weekly practices, the League arranges for free skills training for both field players and goal keepers. These skill clinics are open to specific age groups at specific times. The average season is 10 weeks long with the last two weeks of the season designated for playoff and final championship games.

The coach and assistant coach of each team are volunteers. Coaches are provided with a basic level of training based on the age of the team they will oversee.

One of AYSO’s philosophies is that Everyone Plays irrespective of experience. All interested youth are encouraged to register.
